I love my freckles. This is a phrase that I don't hear enough of. Whenever I'm shopping for makeup, the first question a technician always asks me is "are you looking for a cover up to hide your freckles?" NO. I'm not. So I set out to find some light, summery makeup that STILL let my freckles show. Here are my finds...
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer
I love this because it is lightweight AND it has SPF 20 in it. That's necessary for my fair skin. I could still see my freckles, and it didn't feel greasy or heavy like a lot of tinted moisturizers that I've found before. This is my favorite.

Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Powder
This ALSO has sunscreen in it (SPF 15), and is a light powder. The only problem I found with this is that it was a bit difficult to match my skin tone. Also, my skin tends to be a bit dry in the summer, so I had to put a moisturizer on first and then let it dry before I put the powder on.

Josie Maran Tinted Moisturizer
ANOTHER great tinted moisturizer with SPF (30 in this one). If you are a fan of eco friendly makeup, this is a great choice for you. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with oily skin, as it is made with Argan Oil (natural oil that softens the skin, but if you're already oily, it could make you more so). It's really sheer and there aren't too many color options, but if you can find a match, it's definitely worth it.

Happy hunting... I found all of these products at Sephora, but there are a number of department stores that carry these products as well. Do you use something for your freckly face? Let me know what you use!
